Our client approached us with a requirement for replacement HVAC filters for a prestigious national hotel chain. These needed a G4 grade, to fit a 592 x 592mm space, with a 95mm profile.
A problem had been identified with collapsing filters, so the client asked us for a low-cost solution which would ensure efficient filtration went uninterrupted.
A Metal Cased Panel Filter could be used in this situation, to ensure a rigid filter, not susceptible to collapse.
Our Card-cased G4 Panel Filter was the other option, and we suggested the addition of strengthening finger-spacers, card inserts working to hold up the pleated media to prevent collapse.
Option B was a lower-cost choice than Option A, whilst fully addressing the problem. We suggested these to the customer, confident that they would withstand collapse, and fulfil the filtration requirement.
Southern Filters manufactured and supplied these filters to site, with custom labels and packaging, allowing for a timely installation.
